Our Story

Ravintola Mala has been serving great food in Pasila area for more than a decade. But it is time to make a change and we did, it is now an authentic Sze Chuan cuisine that match the name ‘‘ Mala ‘‘ perfectly, as Mala 麻辣 means spicy in Chinese.

Our philosophy is simple, best ingredient and passionate chefs who get to express their talent in cooking, bring the best result. Good Chinese food is not simple and not easy by any means. We know the secret and now you can experience it in your favourite neighbourhood. 

Execpt those famous Sze Chuan dishes such as Mapo Tofu, Kong Po Chicken, Yu Xiang pork slices, We also have hot pot and the delicious Skewers. On top of these we have seafood and fish specialities as well, so if you’re not into spicy we’ve got you covered.
